With bright sunshine and long-awaited warmth, the Nauryz holiday came to our land - the personification of spring and purity.
From April 11 to April 16, charity events were held at our school.
The Community Fund of PLHIV Community Representatives (people living with HIV) asked us for help. At the moment, they have registered 80 children infected with HIV, 66 of them with an established diagnosis. As the director of the Foundation, Amanzholova Lilia Sergeevna, told us, many of these children are from low-income families who need baby food, diapers, and all kinds of treats. We thank all the school community who supported the aid action.
And of course, we have not forgotten about our friends from boarding schools No. 1 (hearing impaired), No. 2, (cerebral palsy), No. 4 (visually impaired). Following our tradition, the PTA Chairs committee of the school, on behalf of all parents, handed over gifts to children from the boarding schools. The secondary school student council organized horseback riding and carriage riding for the children. The PE department, with the help of our boys, organized a friendly football tournament. Many thanks to the parents of students and graduates of our school, Li Amalia and Tsai Vitaly, who treated our sponsored children with ice cream.
Primary school students held charity events as a result of which 50,000 tenge was earned. Our younger students decided to provide assistance to a homeless animal shelter.
Miras is a school full of good hearts!
