On October 7, 2022, scholarships were awarded to the Miras International Schools in Almaty established by the Halyk Charitable Foundation and the Nursultan Nazarbayev Educational Foundation.

From April to August 2022 the Nursultan Nazarbayev Educational Foundation held the II
open competition for scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023 in the Miras International School for students of grades 9-11.

A total of 146 applicants registered for the competition and 110 were tested (74 students in
Almaty and 36 in Astana).

The students who performed best in the competition were selected.

17 scholarships have been awarded in this academic year’s competition.

One of the priorities of the Halyk Charity Fund is to support talented and gifted young
people by providing them with scholarships to study at the best educational institutions in thecountry.
