Miras students from grades 11 and 12 took an awesome trip to Ili river. The trip agenda included all there is to engage oneself educationally and personally when you stay by a beautiful river surrounded by magnificent rocks. There were songs by a bonfire, cooking on the fire, rock-climbing on training rock routes guided by experienced instructors (who also happen to be Miras teachers ‑ hard to believe but true!), mountain knot-making practice and first-aid crash course, and even night star-gazing with the school telescope (we could see Jupiter and Saturn with its rings!).

The trip is a part of the Miras Diploma CAS programme (creativity, action, service) that is aimed at developing young people’s personal, including leadership, skills. Great that the trip turned out a 100% success! The students came back in excellent mood with lots of new impressions!!
