Dear Friends!
During the second term, the students of our school took part in the international children's art competition "Autumn in My City" organized by the Association of School Public Organizations with the support of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation and “Rossotrudnichestvo”. The works for the contest were sent by children from the CIS countries.
Students of grades 1-5 of Miras International School Almaty prepared 20 creative works, revealing the beauty of the native land in the autumn period. Landscapes and fantasy compositions were presented by our students in the competition. Arts teachers Tala Atos and Zhenisgul Bayburkutova were mentors in preparation of these creative works.
According to the results of the competition, all our students were awarded Diplomas for participation.
Three elementary school students were awarded Diplomas for the 3rd place:
Kumis Serikbek, student of the 3rd "C" class, work "Autumn in my city",
Aisha Nurzhankyzy, student of the 4th "C" class, work "Autumn in my city",
Danil Kim, student of the 4th "A" class, work "Autumn".

Diplomas and letters of appreciation from the Consulate General of the Russian Federation and “Rossotrudnichestvo” for preparing students for the competition were awarded to the teachers of arts Tala Atos and Zhenisgul Bayburkutova.

Looking at these works, we see how students with warmth drew their favorite places of our city, its autumn parks, alleys and squares. Participation in such competitions develops their love for nature, native land and homeland.
